Why this team exists
In rural Japan, there are still too few places where people can take part regardless of age or circumstance, and too few chances to try something new. IWATE UMACCO RACING exists to create those opportunities and connections through e-motorsports.
Disability, age, background — these still decide who gets a chance to compete. We want to build an environment where those barriers can simply be crossed.
Everyone standing on the same grid, representing their region. We want that experience to become pride, and that pride to become attachment to the place people come from. As those connections reach beyond the prefecture, they bring new people into the region and help it grow. We link the horse culture handed down in Iwate with today's technology, and build a model for creating new value from a rural region.
